There's a nice write up on the KC website here too for the YKC agility dog of the year award. She really has come a long way from her forum days, it appears! But the fact she is now 22 does make me feel old

Omg poor kobi and poor you πI bet you were really worried π§. I had a similar thing with Riley a few months ago , I think i mentioned it to you lotsofcats - I had just arrived home from work and he and Elsa went crazy and then Riley followed me into the kitchen walking with his head on one side and his eye started rolling, and he was crying ,I sat with him to calm him down and he was ok. I think what happened was he may have banged heads with Elsa when they were going crazy greeting me but at the time I thought he was having a stroke , it was so scary and very frightening . How has kobi been today ? Is he ok . X

I would have liked the Leonberger to win Crufts but was happy with the winner and especially happy with the Jack Russell as runner up. I chose the Australian Shepard to win, but I really wanted the Jack Russell to come first. Happy with the reserve winner though.

I though we were going to have to have Kobi put to sleep yesterday. First of all he was sat near the window in the light and I noticed that his one pupil was small and the other one large. My son had just gone after his Mother's Day visit and Kobi started to veer to the side when he walked. He went into the kitchen and was sick over the rug. He then went outside and couldn't walk in a straight line. When he came back in I noticed that his eyes were going back and fore very fast. This is a doggy stroke, Taz's mum had one, but she recovered. Taz had one and sort of recovered and then he had another and was pts. Kobi lay on the sofa for an hour or two and then his eyes were ok. It was scary. He slept all night is fine this morning and eating well.

I hadn't seen it but congratulations to BorderTerrier & Arrow Her last year seems to have been a mix of sadness, as she lost Earl in April 2023 aged 13, and joy with Ethel (now 9 & retired from agility) & Arrow (4) doing so well in agility including following Ethel's paws with a try out for Team GB & a new job. Oddly enough I'd been looking at her forum links towards the end of last year (can't remember why) & still had her instragram page www.instagram.com/pawsinpursuit/?hl=en so as a result of orpheous87 's post brought it back up & from that followed through linktr.ee/pawsinpursuit & finally to facebook which has proved an interesting read www.facebook.com/summerrubyclark as well as her final podcast to listen to Her "Week in a life of ..." podcast was also interesting & I was able to see Ethel
